(Water quality and chlorophyll a levels in the Caloosahatchee River and associated tributaries in Southwest Florida were sampled during 1979-1980. Routine water samples were collected from 17 river and 17 tributary sites. The data was collected to characterize the quality of water discharges to the Caloosahatchee River by selected tributaries and Lake Okeechobee, to determine the impact of these inflows upon the river, and to identify the water quality conditions associated with the phytoplankton levels in the Caloosahatchee.)
