One of the most impactful ways you can support Florida Gulf Coast University is by making a gift to the University Library. The library supports all of FGCU’s 16,000 students and nearly 500 faculty as well as our extended Southwest Florida community.

University Library Fund enables the library to enrich collections, provide technology, and improve services furthering its goal of generating and disseminating knowledge and advancing ideas through new scholarship. In addition, your gift supports the maintenance and improvement of the library.
University Archives and Special Collections collects, preserves, and provides access to rare materials documenting the cultural and environmental history of Southwest Florida, in addition to serving as the institutional memory of FGCU. Your support enriches scholarship, programming, and provides public access to two museum quality exhibitions a year.
Friends of the University Library is an association of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members who are dedicated to supporting and promoting the University Library.
