There are several tools available to assist with managing steps in an evidence synthesis project such as title and abstract screening; full text screening; de-duplication of studies; and data extraction. Some options are below.

Citation managers allow you to: 

• Import and store references that you find in databases and on the web
• Organize references into folders
• Create bibliographies, in text citations and reference lists in thousands of styles
• Share references with other researchers
