Onboarding and Training
- Orientation: Fellows will attend a mandatory orientation in August 2025 to review expectations, introduce focus areas, and set initial learning outcomes.
- Training: Fellows will receive role-specific training (e.g., software/tools, teaching techniques) during the beginning of the Fall semester.
Work Requirements
- Supervision: Each fellow will report to a designated library staff member who will oversee their work and provide mentorship.
- Reflection: Fellows will submit a brief (1-2 page) reflection at the end of each semester connecting their work to coursework and career goals.
- Learning Outcomes: Fellows will define 2-3 personal learning outcomes at the start of each semester, reviewed and approved by their supervisor.
- Micro-Credentials: Fellows will contribute to at least one micro-credential per semester via the university’s digital badging program, tied to their focus area (e.g., “Digital Literacy Trainer”).
Program Completion
Final Deliverable: Fellows will present a short (5-10 minute) presentation or portfolio in April 2026 showcasing their work, skills gained, and career connections.
Evaluation: Fellows will complete a program satisfaction survey in May 2026.
