The FGCU Library offers a family friendly study space. It is equipped with child-size furniture, toys and books to allow parents or other child caregivers the ability to study with others together with the family that they care for.
Location: The Family Study Room is located on the first floor of the Library in 109 LIB West.
The Family Study Room contains:
- 1 adult height table with 4 chairs
- A ScreenBeam monitor for sharing computer to TV
- A wall-mounted white board
- 1 low rectangular table with 4 small chairs, suitable for small children
- 2 teardrop beanbag seats for children
- An easel with paper for children to color with crayons
- Coloring books and crayons
- A low storage center with a variety of toys, including knob puzzles, a lacing beads set, sorting bears, and animal builders
- A free family library of books
