The University Archives & Special Collections of the Florida Gulf Coast University Wilson G. Bradshaw Library advances research by acquiring, preserving, and providing public access to original primary source materials. As the official source of institutional memory, the Florida Gulf Coast University Archives regularly collects materials related to our students, culture, and alumni. The University Archives houses over 200 linear feet of documents, photographs, memorabilia, and publications related to the history of Florida Gulf Coast University.
The Special Collections at FGCU houses a variety of materials related to the history of Southwest Florida as well as items from around the world. Researchers can find materials diverse range of collections such as the American Association of University Women, the Kevin Erwin Environmental Ecology Collection, the Racial and Social Justice Collection, and the Koreshan Unity Collection.
FGCU Alumni have full access to University Archives and Special Collections materials. Alumni are welcome to use our reading room to view collections and for research.
