University Archives & Special Collections

University Archives and Alumni

As the official source of institutional memory, the Florida Gulf Coast University Archives regularly collects materials related to our students, culture, and alumni. The University Archives houses over 200 linear feet of documents, photographs, memorabilia, and publications related to the history of Florida Gulf Coast University.

In preparation for Florida Gulf Coast University's 25th anniversary, the University Archives and Special Collections invites students, alum, and faculty members to submit their stories, materials, and other ephemera that illustrate our shared culture over the last 25 years.

The University Archives and Special Collections' Fall 2022 exhibit will highlight the history and accomplishments of our students and alum. Collecting materials related to student life and culture is critical to preserving our history as we continue to grow.

If you or a family member graduated from FGCU,
we invite you to contact our University Archivist
