The FGCU EagleID is also your library card, used to check out library materials. Your FGCU email address and password allow off-campus access to library databases and e-journals.
Subject Librarians are assigned to each academic program to support student and faculty research and learning.
The University Library welcomes suggestions for the acquisition of materials that support teaching, study, and research at the University. Please use the Suggest A Book / Material form to make a request.
To place an item on course reserves, complete the online request form. The Course Reserve Policy answers a lot of questions about the process, but feel free to contact your librarian with any questions. You can also create persistent links to articles located in FGCU databases and place them in your CANVAS courses.
Web-based tutorials and helpful answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available for self-directed support for searching. Librarians are also available for research instruction sessions with your class. Contact your subject librarian for availability.
The Library link on the left navigation menu in Canvas has been created by your librarian to guide your students to library resources. You can also integrate library resources (course reserves, articles, librarian information, library videos) into your course manually. Contact your subject librarian.
