If you're just beginning in Digital Humanities or wondering what all the fuss is about, here are some sources to get you started.
It is no simple task to define the broad and constantly developing field of Digital Humanities. Melissa Terras of University College London defines it as "computational methods that are trying to understand what it means to be human, in both our past and present society." This is a simplification, to be sure, but one that gets at the essence of the field. See the following DH "map" by David Haden for more information, and explore the tabs of this research guide to find a variety of sources and tools to help you delve into the field.
