Media Production Studios

Reserving the One Button Studio

An orientation for the One Button Studio is not required to use the space. If you have any questions about reserving the space, or using the equipment please email mlosey@fgcu.edu. All request will be automatically approved.

Check Availability & Reserve the One Button Studio

Reserve the One Button Studio by using the online booking system above. A valid FGCU email address is needed to make reservations and FGCU ID card is required to check out the room key when you arrive for your reservation.

Reserve the Audio and Video Studios

You must have completed an orientation, either in-person or online, for the studio you want to reserve, before your reservation will be approved. Studio staff will verify that you have done the orientation before approving your reservation.

Reserve a studio by using the online booking system above. A valid FGCU email address is needed to make reservations and FGCU ID card is required to check out the room key when you arrive for your reservation.

Additional Guidelines for Studio Reservations

Requests for use of the Media Production Studios are submitted online and all requests are pending until approved by a staff member. If you have already completed the training, you will be on the list of approved users and you will not need to complete it again.

Special consideration for room booking is given to students participating in Eagle Radio and Eagle News TV, due to the specific equipment needs of these student groups.
If schedule or resource demands conflict, the following list will determine who gets top priority and who may have to reschedule or wait for availability:

  1. Eagle Radio/ Eagle News TV students
  2. Students recording a project for a class.
  3. Faculty/Staff creating a multimedia project designed to support a specific class.
  4. Student/Faculty/Staff creating a multimedia project for an official club/sport.
  5. Student creating a Departmental or University-wide multimedia project.
  6. Faculty/Staff creating a Departmental or University-wide multimedia project.
  7. Student creating a multimedia project for personal development or artistic vision.
  8. Faculty/Staff creating a multimedia project for personal development/artistic vision.
