Consultations are available to discuss projects you are working on, figure out best settings, materials, and go over your particular case.

Orientations

Orientations are available to educate you on the basics of using the equipment in the Makerspace. After completing the certification orientation on your desired machine, users will be able to:

• Understand basic design principles, and how to successfully implement them.
• Understand each machines settings that allows them to fully customize their designs.
• Process their designs with specialized software and prepare them to be used with their respective machines.
• Understand the importance of selecting the correct material type for their designs intended use.
• Identify potential safety issues and prevent hazards from occurring while using the machines.

Orientations are required if you wish to use the machines independently.
